[NAIA Poll] Keiser Jumps Up In Top 25 Thanks To Upset Over Southeastern

Keiser (Fla.) used a 28-point second half to defeat then-No. 12 Southeastern (Fla.) 42-29, jumping the Seahawks up six spots to No. 12 in this week’s AFCA NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The loss dropped Southeastern seven places to No. 19.

Morningside (Iowa) still sits comfortably at the No. 1 spot after blanking Jamestown (N.D.), 61-0. Kansas Wesleyan, Marian (Ind.) and Grand View (Iowa) all held their spots from a week ago, but Northwestern (Iowa) moves into the Top 5 this week thanks to Benedictine’s (Kan.) loss to No. 10 Evangel (Mo.). The Ravens suffered their second straight loss and drop nine spots to No. 14.

There is only one Top 25 matchup this coming weekend as No. 6 Saint Francis (Ind.) hosts No. 18 Siena Heights (Mich.) in a pivotal game in the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League. Both teams are in a three-way tie for second place.
