[D3 Poll] Redlands Enters AFCA Poll at No. 25

For the first time in 2021, University of Redlands (Calif.) enters the AFCA Division III Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Bulldogs dominated Whittier (Calif.) 65-7 and moved its record to 7-1. The win gives Redlands at least a share of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title and secured their spot in the NCAA Division III playoffs. The Bulldogs look to win the conference title out-right with a victory over California Lutheran on Saturday.

The top-10 remained the same with North Central (Ill.) controlling the top spot and garnering 40 first-place votes. No. 5 St. John’s (Minn.) has the only top-25 matchup among the top-10 as they travel to No. 12 Bethel (Minn.) for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title game. The Johnnies own the series advantage at 33-9 and won this year’s meeting, 31-25, on September 25.
There are two other top-25 matchups in the final week of the regular season. No. 13 Cortland (N.Y.) plays host to No. 18 Ithaca (N.Y.) in the annual Cortaca Jug game while No. 22 Union (N.Y.) hosts No. 24 Rensselaer (N.Y.).
