Trailing 21-0 after the first quarter, Concordia (Mich.) scored 42 unanswered points and held on for a 42-35 win on the road against then-No. 9 Saint Xavier (Ill.). The win moves the Cardinals to 4-0 on the season and they stay at No. 5 in the AFCA NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The loss dropped Saint Xavier six spots to No. 15.

Morningside (Iowa), who was idle this past week, still sits No. 1, receiving all 17 first-place votes. Benedictine (Kan.), Saint Francis (Ind.) and Kansas Wesleyan round out the Top 5.
